Meet Our Orthodontists

We have two skilled orthodontists on our team, Timothy G. Wigal, DDS, MS and Jason Lawrence, DDS, MS. Both of our orthodontists are proud graduates of West Virginia University where they completed their doctoral studies in dentistry and earned master of science degrees in orthodontics. Dr. Wigal also completed advanced training in the six elements of orofacial harmony and uses this treatment philosophy to create orthodontic care plans that benefit the interaction of the dental and facial structures. Dr. Lawrence is passionate about patient experience, and he goes above and beyond to ensure patients feel relaxed and comfortable throughout their treatment.

2 Convenient Locations

For your convenience, we have two office locations. You can visit the Wigal Orthodontics team in Mt. Vernon or Heath. We welcome patients from Newark, Granville, and all surrounding communities. Our offices are open from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday, but if you or your child experience an orthodontic emergency, we’re here to help you right away. A Wide Variety of Treatments

We are committed to helping our patients smile, and we offer a wide range of orthodontic services to deliver perfectly aligned, evenly spaced smiles. Some of the treatments we provide include:

• Traditional braces – bracket and wire braces are still reliable and effective in straightening smiles with even the most complex orthodontic cases
• Clear braces – rather than metal, we can also use clear and tooth-colored materials to create brackets and wires
• Invisalign – straightens smiles using clear, plastic alignment trays to shift teeth into the ideal position
• Phase 1 – early orthodontic intervention for kids and preteens who show clear signs of orthodontic concerns during dental development
• Orthodontic appliances – may include retainers to preserve the results of orthodontic treatment, spacers, and palatal expanders
